About the programme
The programme phase of i2i occurs after the challenge phase and involves the persons who are successful in being awarded grants. The period extends for approximately one year after the challenge phase and is meant to help persons develop their ideas to a point of proof of concept.
In this phase, the participants’ direct point of contact is with CARIRI in its role as the executing agency of the programme phase. Participants are assigned a liaison officer and work with the CARIRI staff in developing their project workplans and planning out the year of intended activity.
The benefits of the programme are:
- Oversight of the use of grant funding awarded to participants
- Workplan guidance and technical support from CARIRI
- Community support from i2i peers and industry professionals (provided through workshops, seminars etc.)
